At Southern Goodman, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. That’s why we are proud to announce our sponsorship of the 2024 Home for Good® event hosted by Henrico CASA. This event is not just about raising awareness; it’s about taking action to ensure a brighter future for the children of Henrico County.

THE STATISTICS SURROUNDING CHILDHOOD ADVERSITY IN VIRGINIA ARE STAGGERING:

60% of Virginia’s children experience at least one adverse childhood experience
Every 81 minutes a child experiences abuse or neglect in Virginia
Every 13 days a child dies from abuse or neglect

Being a part of this event is our way of helping to ensure that the most vulnerable of children have safe, healthy homes! We can’t change the past for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Fortunately, our support of Henrico CASA can change their future. When judges appoint Court Appointed Special Advocates, a child’s future begins to be rewritten.

Our support of Henrico CASA’s Home for Good event is more than just a sponsorship; it’s a commitment to making a difference in the lives of these children. By being a part of this event, we are contributing to that transformation.

Dewayne was outstanding on this PM. He was extremely thorough and explained everything he did to the system very well, even included pictures of all the components he looked at and checked. The only thing keeping me from requesting him every time is that he was here for a full 2 hours. If he could get everything done within one hour, I would request Dwayne every time. Michael and Billie were very nice and professional service technicians.Sammie and Shannon who handle the office calls also very nice to work with. Mr. Dwayne Gail is the Service Technician who completed a maintenance checkup on my heat pump system, which had originally been installed by Southern Goodman in January 2018. Prior to his inspection, Mr. Gail explained that he would be looking at both the indoor and outdoor units, and would take pictures to explain his findings. He described the tasks he would do to check the unit. Mr. Gail did a very thorough examination and an excellent job of sharing this information with me. He also gave me their new brochure which describes the VIP membership program. I was pleased to hear that my system is in good shape; he had only one recommendation for a replacement part. He calculated the cost for this work, both as a member and nonmember, showing me the potential savings. Mr. Gail was knowledgeable, thorough and very pleasant, and this was without a doubt, one of the best interactions I’ve ever had with a Service Provider.

Silas is the only reason I still use this company. Professional, prompt, and courteous- even with the change in branding and multiple phone calls weekly asking me to schedule.. I’ll still choose this company because I know what to expect in service. The name change was a miss, and the “how can I make you smile today” becomes obnoxious because after the second time hearing it multiple times, it’s clearly scripted. Thanks for your consistently, Silas! You rock!

During a review of our HVAC a serious problem was found with one of our units. We worked with the team to find the best replacement alternative and purchased it and had it installed by SoGood... they did an excellent job in removing the old unit and replacing with the selected unit. We were pleased with the speed and care the inhalation team did
