At Southern Goodman, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. That’s why we are proud to announce our sponsorship of the 2024 Home for Good® event hosted by Henrico CASA. This event is not just about raising awareness; it’s about taking action to ensure a brighter future for the children of Henrico County.

THE STATISTICS SURROUNDING CHILDHOOD ADVERSITY IN VIRGINIA ARE STAGGERING:

60% of Virginia’s children experience at least one adverse childhood experience
Every 81 minutes a child experiences abuse or neglect in Virginia
Every 13 days a child dies from abuse or neglect

Being a part of this event is our way of helping to ensure that the most vulnerable of children have safe, healthy homes! We can’t change the past for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Fortunately, our support of Henrico CASA can change their future. When judges appoint Court Appointed Special Advocates, a child’s future begins to be rewritten.

Our support of Henrico CASA’s Home for Good event is more than just a sponsorship; it’s a commitment to making a difference in the lives of these children. By being a part of this event, we are contributing to that transformation.

We had a problem with our system on Christmas Eve day. Called in and got a professional and caring response. Even though their techs were off for the holiday weekend, they sent someone out who fixed our problem quickly. Very kind and professional service. We're so glad we had them install all our systems! Johnny and Joey arrived on time and started removing old heat pump. By 3:00pm they had new unit installed and AC working great. Very professional and hard workers. Not sure how Johnny survived the heat in the attic put he did. Thanks everyone involved.

Mr. Silas the service mechanic of SoGood Plumbing came out and analyzed the situation after I told him what was going on.... he made a prediction on what it could be, then he did the diagnostic and it was exactly what he said it was. and he replaced it on the spot. Now my Unit is up and running. As I was out there with him he also educating me on a few things that I needed to know. Silas was the person that worked on my unit last year and did a great job! I will start requesting him.

Ty and Johnny were a fantastic team and offered exceptional service. They quickly unclogged our toilet and upgraded our connector to repair a leak. The two guys that came out to our house today and serviced our garbage disposal and our dishwasher had to come from Petersburg and then they were only here. It only took about 30 to 40 minutes they fixed both of them. They charged us less than $100 to fix both of the issues that we were having and they just took care of it in record time very friendly guys and we will definitely be calling them whether it’s a plumbing heating regardless will be calling these guys good group of guys!!!!😎👌 Great Plumbers

Billy was the best hvac tech I have ever had. Not only was he very good at his job, he was genuinely pleasant to be around. He kept me informed every step of the repair. He stayed until after 7pm, making sure everything was working. Then he even stayed to clean the outside unit. Amazingly great service. I will continue using this company and I have already recommended it to one of my students who has 2 friends who are having hvac problems.

Great service. The only thing is companies today are forced to ask/beg for 5star google reviews in order to be at the top of the list when a Google search occurs. I’ve been asked multiple times by many companies to give a 5 star review. I just want great service and not have to advertise for them.

Met with Sampson to review options for repair or new hvac unit. Sampson is awesome, easy to communicate with, attentive and was willing to answer any and all questions. Technicians that performed the work the following day did so flawlessly, quick and professional.
