I must comment on the fact that So God has to now start recording me in my house and not inform me. Now I understand Virginia’s law saying at least one person in the conversation has to approve or know. Honestly, I didn’t and don’t appreciate not being informed even if the law says it’s okay. I have nothing to hide, to lie about, and have always been straight forward with So Good and have no reason to change now. SoGood Plumbing heating and air were a lifesaver to meet today. I came home to my air conditioner unit putting out hot air and the technician from another company that was at my home the same morning could not return until next week. I did a Google search and this company was my second phone call. When I was told that dispatcher what contact me I received the call within the hour and the dispatcher told me that a technician was headed my way. Silas was thorough and identify the issue immediately. I was provided with a quick fix and I was also informed of permanent options.It is good to know that there are companies out there with good people that will meet your immediate need which for me today was cool air as we have hot days coming. Silas was very personable and I would recommend him to anyone especially in the Tri-Cities area as It can be a little difficult finding someone to provide service in this area. Silas was not only pleasant but knowledgeable. That’s all we’re asking for, good service and people with a good attitude. Silas and SoGood come highly recommended.

After a gas leak in the garage from the water heater - they were able to come reconnect just a few hours later. Turned out I needed a new water heater but they were able to come back the next day to install. The gentlemen were polite, clean, and efficient. Will definitely use them again in the future!

My AC upstairs went out during the day today when it was 90° outside!! After calling around to several companies, finally I stumbled upon SoGood! Julia came out very quickly when others couldn’t get to me until next week. She quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything to me and efficiently switched out the broken part. She was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend SoGood and ask for Julia!!

Technician was precise about explaining any & all possible issues that could arise later.He also explained how much the various services would cost.

The office called to make sure we were aware of changes to appointment. The tech arrived in the time frame given. He checked the system, told me somethings we could do to improve the performance. And offered a bi-annual service contract for system maintenance. We were very satisfied. Didn't feel pressured, and felt it was a fair price.

Technicians Jonnie and Deonte were great. Had a slight issue in the beginning, but they took care of it quickly. Both were very informative in explaining what was to be done and did an amazing job. After having a very difficult time with the city of Petersburg, I was stuck with a big job(which was no fault of my own) as far as needing a whole new waterline from the city to my house. This company was the first number that I called. They came out quickly, assess the situation and within the same day I was able to get proper pricing and information that I would need to move forward. They gave me Different finance options as well. Within less than a week after they assess the job, they were back out early then scheduled..ready to go…did the job effectively, efficiently, kept me informed the whole time throughout, was polite & just downright good people. I thank them so much for spending their entire day making sure that my children and I have proper running water. Had I known about this company two weeks prior I would have saved me so much trouble and a headache, but I thank them for helping my children and I.

It seemed to me that she went above and beyond in terms of the quality of service she provided for the company, including explaining the different options available to me and following up with the main office regarding appointments and services. I have not worked with this company before, but this first interaction was very high-level, thorough, informative, and professional without feeling pushy. That combination was greatly appreciated.

So good Heating and Plumbing sent a technician out by the name of Julia, who is very professional very thorough and very informational. Julia addressed a problem of water leaking in my crawlspace. Recommended the service that would fix the problem . Julia went into the crawlspace and identified all the problems that needed to be fixed along with a video and pictures of the damage the water had done. The problem was created by another company who had provided a service in my crawlspace. Julia fix the leaking problem that was created by another company that cause major damage to my ductwork.

Tino at SoGoodPlumbing did a very thorough job with leaking pipes in our crawl space. He stayed until 8pm to finish everything! This is an excellent company-the plumber came out within 3 hours of calling them. I would give them 10 stars if I could! I am so grateful to have found a good, dependable plumbing service. I give them my highest recommendation.Call them!

Beginning with David Clements' advice to Brad Booth and Cody Sill install of a replacement heat pump, I had wonderful experience! Brad did a fantastic job at showing me the work done to install the air handler and the compressor. Very clean install. No mess inside or outside. Very professional! I appreciated the review and training on the new thermostat from Brad and the review of the checklist of all the work they did as part of the install. 1/2021 - The maintenance technician showed up on time. He was polite and courteous. The inspection was fairly quick. I've been using these folks for a couple of years and they continue to provide quality service! I highly recommend. 11/2022 - The maintenance technician, Bryce, performed the inspection and let me know the status of each zone. He made me aware of the shape of the condensers for each unit and we decided it best to replace them both. He provided an estimate quickly and he did the installation of each very quickly. As mentioned before I highly recommend Southern Goodman for their quality service and expertise! And they have a great team from their office thru their technicians. 5/5/2026 - service was great as usual. It was a pleasure to meet Ethan and he did a great job explaining the service maintenance that he did. I was very concerned regarding the cost of the capacitor replacement as the part itself, based on my research, was minimal compared to the overall charge. The time to replace the capacitor was less than 15 minutes so the labor charge seems very high.

I want to compliment So Good and Robert in particular for fixing my outdoor faucet, which I discovered leaking at 3pm yesterday. I thought I would not be able to get someone to fix it at that late hour, but not so. The dispatcher called me right away saying Robert was on his way. Within a hour of his arrival, my faucet was replaced, professionally and with a smile. Thank you Robert!

I had such a great experience with SoGood! Johnny was incredibly kind and did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet after a cartridge broke, causing my water to constantly run even when in the off position. He was truly professional and made the fix a breeze. Plus, the customer service and communication from the scheduling folks was seamless. 10/10! Updated: we also just had Andy come out to replace our 25 year old furnace. He carefully explained all the updates he made and was super professional. So happy to have a new furnace for our home, and peace of mind! Updated: we also just had a stinky toilet repaired by replacing the wax ring. Was such a convenient and easy process!

I just bought a home and discovered I had a clogged drain when I bought a new washer/dryer set which flooded my laundry room. My tech Tino came out the next morning and thoroughly researched my issue and offered a short term and long term solution. He was patient with my questions and explained the processes for each so I knew what I was getting into and allowed me to choose the best option for me. Tino took great care cutting into my wall, left everything as clean as possible and was even kind to my dog. Hope I don’t need a plumber anytime soon but if I do I’ll ask for Tino.

Julia was great! Very professional with a great customer service attitude. Answered all questions, including some preventative measures for the future. Great attention to detail and showed pictures of what we were discussing.

Service manager was very helpful and got me a good price on a new HVAC unit. The service technician was very friendly and showed me what it would have taken to repair the old unit which would have been very costly.

I had an overall positive experience with SoGood. When they first came out, they indicated that the system could likely be repaired, though it later became clear that the fix would be more complicated than initially expected. To their credit, particularly SILAS, they stayed committed to the job and ultimately we arrived at a short term solution to allow me time to get estimates for replacing the system. Throughout the process, both technicians (Jeremy and Silas) were professional, respectful of my home, and thorough. They arrived on time, communicated clearly about what they were finding, with pictures. and kept me informed as things evolved. In the end, although not the answer I was looking for, I feel confident in the final diagnosis. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Tino was courteous, patient and clearly knowledgeable. He was kind enough to explain what was needed as well as providing alternative courses of action, depending upon what he encountered as he performed the work. If I were to require any other plumbing issues to be fixed, I would ask for Tino to take care of it.
