Dwayne did a terrific job.

We worked with Mitch to determine what replacement units would be ideal for our long term goals and financial abilities. He took into account our children who have asthma. The install was the next day. It was quick and efficient and the install team worked great together. They were very conscious of napping toddlers and to disturb our day in the least amount possible. Before leaving they explained the new units and everything we would need moving forward. They even saved the boxes for our kids to build a fort.

Yovani, described the service he was to perform. At completion of his service he explained what he had identified. In this case things were OK.

Southern Goodman has been nursing our twenty-year-old HVAC system for several years since we bought our HUD home. Sam came out today, performed the annual evaluation and gave us an honest appraisal, not entirely unexpected, that it would be wise to replace our system. He answered our questions, discussed our options for a new system, and helped us understand our financing choices. Thanks, Sam and Southern Goodman.

Our technician, Billy was excellent. He explained the investigation process of the issue. He went over findings with very thorough explanations. He showed pictures and video of everything including job completion. He went over all solutions with costs and then gave recommendations. Billy answered all questions. He was both professional and personable. Billy is definitely a very valuable asset to SoGood. Also the communication from office staff is top notch. Customer service has been superb all around.

Stephen diagnosed the issue with the plumbing and made quality repairs at a reasonable price and fast. He even went above and beyond to install an access panel that I purchased earlier and made the cosmetics look great. Outstanding professionalism I highly recommend.

We just had our air conditioner repaired after living in an oven over the weekend. Everyone we spoke to with GOODMAN has been helpful and understanding.Our A/c was fixed way quicker than expected and the house is already cooling. So grateful that I decided to contact them today. I had such a great experience with SoGood! Johnny was incredibly kind and did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet after a cartridge broke, causing my water to constantly run even when in the off position. He was truly professional and made the fix a breeze. Plus, the customer service and communication from the scheduling folks was seamless. 10/10! Updated: we also just had Andy come out to replace our 25 year old furnace. He carefully explained all the updates he made and was super professional. So happy to have a new furnace for our home, and peace of mind!

I had a great experience working with Southern Goodman to replace both of my HVAC systems. Being new to the area, I chose to get a couple quotes from local companies and ultimately went with Southern Goodman because of the great communication, personalized recommendations, product availability, and because they are brand agnostic company. I went from cold calling to talking with the owner (Samson) in a couple minutes which was a very nice & personal touch. He then scheduled Mitch to come out the next day to assess my situation. Mitch was very thorough and really took his time to come up with options that would best fit my family's needs and what would work best with our house. I was not planning to make a decision that day on which company to choose, but it was these first two interactions that made not want to look further. I'd like to give special shoutouts & thanks to the install crew (Jonni, Joey and Jerry). It's amazing how much work you all were able to accomplish in a day and to the level of detail. I really appreciate you all walking me through the work to be completed, explaining how everything works, and taking your time to make sure we were all set up and everything was working correctly before leaving. It also was nice to see the care in cleaning up after the work was completed. —Update 9/12/25 I recently had SoGood out to replace my aging tankless hot water heater and install a reverse osmosis system and just wanted to say thanks to Stephen for all the hard work and great communication along the process. While there were some challenges during the install, I appreciated Stephen’s dedication and perseverance to make sure the job got done right. After these 2 jobs I wouldn’t hesitate to call SoGood down the road for future work. Thanks again Southern Goodman!

Billy did a great job diagnosing my HVAC system replacing capacitor and installing Air UV Light with oxidation system. He also. Pointed out other company’s errors to not correctly install their equipment which had safety issues which I contacted and they are now correcting. I appreciated his thoroughness.

Dwyane did a great job performing 6 month maintenance on my new HVAC. He went above and beyond on all aspects and answered all technical questions. He completed entire check list and I was impressed with all technical details he captured about the system in their database. He made sure indoor and outdoor system both were clean and ready for winter. I like this company because all the technicians I have encountered so far are always thorough, patient, honest and happy with what they do.

Billy did a thorough job evaluating our HVAC system and gave us comprehensive options on what to move forward with. Unlike other vendors, he did not try to sell me a brand new system. In fact, he saved me $1,200 (that I almost paid to a previous vendor) by identifying a simple solution to our condenser motor's non-function: plug it in!! SoGood could have charged me $59 for a second opinion but did not. Their service prices are not the lowest, but they're honest and did not try to get me buy unnecessary services. Billy was great to work with.

We had to get our main sewer pipe replaced And SoGood Plumbing Heating and Air went above and beyond to make sure the entire process was as hassle free as possible. Samson was very professional and informative and helped me through the entire process from the insurance to the job site. Samson along with Stephen and Brandon worked efficiently and in a very timely manner (A job that would normally take 2-3 days they finished in one!) and did such an excellent job! 10/10 would recommend!!

So Good retuned the call quickly after a weekend, and Billy was out by 10 AM Monday. The receptionist was very pleasant (I believe her name was Tami). She said she would update me throughout the day, and did indeed- she called an hour later. Billy was courteous and pleasant, and clearly explained everything well, and set expectations and high standards, which were then met. He was even diligent about wearing the shoe covers every time he entered the house, and knocked every time. We are very happy with our service, and will recommend a a call to So Good to our friends and family!

Quick and easy professional service.

Bryce responded quickly after losing our AC during a heat wave that included severe thunderstorms and high winds. He explained the damage likely caused by a storm related power surge and the importance of each component needed in the repair. Bryce is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him and hope to see him again on our next regular maintenance session.

We called on Thursday morning for a leak of n our bathroom. Sammy answered the phone (with their fabulous greeting) and made an appointment for that day. Before beginning any work, he clearly explained the entire process and assured me that he wouldn’t perform any service without first discussing it with me. He wore boot covers while walking inside to keep everything clean, and he thoroughly inspected my system. Dijon took the time to point out potential future issues and gave me honest recommendations—without ever pressuring me to make a decision on the spot. SoGood installed a whole new system for us in the upstairs of our house. Their techs did an amazing job on the install and keeping us informed along to way. Would highly recommend this company to anyone having HVAC issues.

We had a great experience using SoGood to add an additional return duct to address issue in cooling a large room upstairs. They were very timely and did an excellent good job making the work look really good even though it’s in the attic. They were very good picking up and using drop cloth to make sure the rooms remained clean. We would definitely choose them again for any future HVAC issues. Very professional.

We had Billy come over for our routine scheduled maintenance service. He was very friendly and took his time checking everything out. He found a leak in our outside unit and was able to take care of that immediately. He also explained thoroughly what all he checked in the house and replaced our filters. Both upstairs and downstairs units were not working in the middle of the heatwave. Silas from SoGood came out quickly, showed us the problems, and fixed one of the units; it still works great after two weeks. The second unit required a compressor, and since it was 18 years old, we purchased a new unit from SoGood that was installed the next day at a very reasonable expense. We really appreciated the promptness, professionalism, and excellent service.

07/18/2025 I was fortunate to receive a call first thing this morning and Yovani (technician) arrived. Wonderful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable tech found our HVAC had froze due to air filters with too high a Merv rating-stopping airflow! Hope we can have Yovani come for all of our service calls! Explained and showed us everything. Really impressive! Thank you. 07/17/2025 We noticed our house was getting very warm. Sadly it was 5:00 p.m. and my temperature on my thermostat read 79. We are elderly and have health issues so heat sensitive. After troubleshooting without it turning on I called their after hrs service around 5:15 p.m. lady said someone would call me. 30 minutes later hadn’t heard from anyone so called to double check. This different lady has no idea why other lady told me that, they are booked for this evening. So someone will call me tomorrow morning or I can book an appointment on-line. We have a warranty, pay for their service plan and our system is a little over 1 yr old, serviced May 12th. We are extremely disappointed in lack of support and mixed communication. 05/12/25 Bryce was our serviceman today for our HVAC system. Very nice, informative gentleman whom presented us with fantastic customer service. He explained the need and difference between a UV Light Filter system and bulbless filter system to prevent mold growth inside of our 1 yr old unit. We appreciated the information and assistance in him installing the bulbless filter system for us today. Always friendly personnel whether calling for an appointment, them calling me to keep me posted on when the service tech will arrive or the service tech themselves. A+ rating from us. 10/23/24 Excellant work by Hunter! Always friendly, helpful and installed a surge protector along with routine maintenance on our unit. Everyone at this company goes above and beyond. Even Suzanne this morning while confirming my appointment. Highly recommend this company. Today I was greeted in such a fantastic way by a wonderful receptionist whom made our appointment for an exceptional serviceman (Silas) to trouble shoot our 17 yr old HVAC system. He was extremely thorough, explained and showed us so many issues missed by others. How refreshing to have such a friendly, knowledgeable person, help us! Silas put us in contact with another outstanding gentleman (Tommy) to help us with our new HVAC system purchase. We truly appreciated the genuine care he took in meeting our personal needs. He definitely made this process so much easier. Today we had the opportunity to meet Johnny and Cody whom installed our new HVAC system and thermostat! They were on time, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, walked us through everything, kept us informed, left everything very clean, just a great team of people! This company seems to have hit gold and I think we as customers are extremely lucky to be the benefactors. So much so, we decided to change out our 17 yr old hot water heater now too! I personally do not want to wait until I have no hot water! We are looking forward to doing business with this company for many years to come! So happy we found you! Silas is the best! He came to clean out our clogged line and get our AC back up and running. He also installed a new pump to hopefully avoid this same issue. He is always so pleasant and nice. He explains and goes over everything with me so I know everything is in great condition. Thanks!

Johnny and Joey arrived on time and started removing old heat pump. By 3:00pm they had new unit installed and AC working great. Very professional and hard workers. Not sure how Johnny survived the heat in the attic put he did. Thanks everyone involved. Called about checking my water heater. Technicians Brandan and Steven came and recommended a new HW heater. Within minutes they started replacing heater and installed water filter. Highly recommend this company.

Brandon came here to provide an estimate for a gas line installation project. It involves installing a line to the deck behind the house, connecting it to an existing line, cutting through the house wall and some drywall, then up through the deck to place a stub just above the deck to feed a natural gas grill. He did an outstanding job, explaining the details of the job and providing an estimate after consulting with colleagues. He was professional in every respect.

Another semi-annual service call. Tech was professional, responsive, and worked quickly. In a time of diminishing service quality, SG stands out. They really do it right! Semi-annual service call: both technicians highly professional. Helpful, great suggestions for improving system efficiency. Main floor system went down. Yovani came out the same day and spent hours diagnosing the problem, which turned out to be in the air handler. Very impressive analytical process, and problem solved. SoGood is so good!

Mr. Silas the service mechanic of SoGood Plumbing came out and analyzed the situation after I told him what was going on.... he made a prediction on what it could be, then he did the diagnostic and it was exactly what he said it was. and he replaced it on the spot. Now my Unit is up and running. As I was out there with him he also educating me on a few things that I needed to know. Silas was the person that worked on my unit last year and did a great job! I will start requesting him.

Ty and Johnny were a fantastic team and offered exceptional service. They quickly unclogged our toilet and upgraded our connector to repair a leak. They even took the time to explain in detail how we could perform some additional work on our own in the future. Ty and Johnny were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The two guys that came out to our house today and serviced our garbage disposal and our dishwasher had to come from Petersburg and then they were only here. It only took about 30 to 40 minutes they fixed both of them. They charged us less than $100 to fix both of the issues that we were having and they just took care of it in record time very friendly guys and we will definitely be calling them whether it’s a plumbing heating regardless will be calling these guys good group of guys!!!!😎👌 Great Plumbers

They was able to come out same day from another company not being able to show up they was able to let me know what my issue was it's going to be more involved than what I thought but they was very courteous and helpful definitely we use them again Brandon was my tech.

Billy was the best hvac tech I have ever had. Not only was he very good at his job, he was genuinely pleasant to be around. He kept me informed every step of the repair. He stayed until after 7pm, making sure everything was working. Then he even stayed to clean the outside unit. Amazingly great service. I will continue using this company and I have already recommended it to one of my students who has 2 friends who are having hvac problems.
