Great service and genuine care. We were approaching a weekend and a big family event with a sudden plumbing issue. They got us in, despite a full schedule.

Stephen was extremely thorough on this Plumbing PM! He even included pictures underneath the house of our piping. It’s obvious he’s very knowledgeable about residential plumbing! I like how he pointed out issues and made his suggestions about ways to remedy the problems. My only complaint is that it took almost 2 hours to do this PM. As thorough as this PM was today, I’m concerned about how frequently SoGood is going to recommend this PM be done. Overall though, don’t let Stephen get away! He is an asset to your company!

Mr. Dwayne Gail is the Service Technician who completed a maintenance checkup on my heat pump system, which had originally been installed by Southern Goodman in January 2018. Prior to his inspection, Mr. Gail explained that he would be looking at both the indoor and outdoor units, and would take pictures to explain his findings. He described the tasks he would do to check the unit. Mr. Gail did a very thorough examination and an excellent job of sharing this information with me. He also gave me their new brochure which describes the VIP membership program. I was pleased to hear that my system is in good shape; he had only one recommendation for a replacement part. He calculated the cost for this work, both as a member and nonmember, showing me the potential savings. Mr. Gail was knowledgeable, thorough and very pleasant, and this was without a doubt, one of the best interactions I’ve ever had with a Service Provider.

I had a 16 year old waterheater and was worried it might start giving me problems, so I wanted to change it out before that happened. SoGood Plumbing sold me a new electric hybrid waterheater with a 30 year lifespan for a fair & reasonable price. The installation was done quickly, by one of their well trained, personable and professional technicians (who didn't charge me extra for watching him work). I highly recommend SoGood Plumbing - Heating & Air to anyone needing work done in a timely and highly professional manner.

We worked with Mitch to determine what replacement units would be ideal for our long term goals and financial abilities. He took into account our children who have asthma. The install was the next day. It was quick and efficient and the install team worked great together. They were very conscious of napping toddlers and to disturb our day in the least amount possible. Before leaving they explained the new units and everything we would need moving forward. They even saved the boxes for our kids to build a fort.

He showed pictures and video of everything including job completion. He went over all solutions with costs and then gave recommendations. Billy answered all questions. I had such a great experience with SoGood! Johnny was incredibly kind and did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet after a cartridge broke, causing my water to constantly run even when in the off position. He was truly professional and made the fix a breeze. Plus, the customer service and communication from the scheduling folks was seamless. 10/10! Updated: we also just had Andy come out to replace our 25 year old furnace. He carefully explained all the updates he made and was super professional. So happy to have a new furnace for our home, and peace of mind!

I had a great experience working with Southern Goodman to replace both of my HVAC systems. Being new to the area, I chose to get a couple quotes from local companies and ultimately went with Southern Goodman because of the great communication, personalized recommendations, product availability, and because they are brand agnostic company. I went from cold calling to talking with the owner (Samson) in a couple minutes which was a very nice & personal touch. He then scheduled Mitch to come out the next day to assess my situation. Mitch was very thorough and really took his time to come up with options that would best fit my family's needs and what would work best with our house. I was not planning to make a decision that day on which company to choose, but it was these first two interactions that made not want to look further. I'd like to give special shoutouts & thanks to the install crew (Jonni, Joey and Jerry). It's amazing how much work you all were able to accomplish in a day and to the level of detail. I really appreciate you all walking me through the work to be completed, explaining how everything works, and taking your time to make sure we were all set up and everything was working correctly before leaving. It also was nice to see the care in cleaning up after the work was completed. —Update 9/12/25 I recently had SoGood out to replace my aging tankless hot water heater and install a reverse osmosis system and just wanted to say thanks to Stephen for all the hard work and great communication along the process. While there were some challenges during the install, I appreciated Stephen’s dedication and perseverance to make sure the job got done right. Billy did a thorough job evaluating our HVAC system and gave us comprehensive options on what to move forward with. Unlike other vendors, he did not try to sell me a brand new system. In fact, he saved me $1,200 (that I almost paid to a previous vendor) by identifying a simple solution to our condenser motor's non-function: plug it in!! SoGood could have charged me $59 for a second opinion but did not. Their service prices are not the lowest, but they're honest and did not try to get me buy unnecessary services. Billy was great to work with.

Wonderful customer service and very knowledgeable team! Didn’t try to sell us, and took their time in explaining all of our options. We called for a professional opinion on what to do moving forward with our entire HVAC system and we were handled with the upmost care. Our home hasn’t felt this “cool” in years! We decided it was in the best interest not only for us, but for future residents of our home, to have a system installed and cared for by SoGood. One of the biggest reasons we chose them was our first interaction with Billy, the technician who came out for the initial evaluation. Billy was thorough, straightforward, relatable, and clearly a family man himself. His professionalism and honesty really stood out, especially compared to other companies we spoke with. He made us feel confident and informed every step of the way whether we decided to proceed with them or not! We also want to thank Samson and Mitch, who made the rest of the process seamless. The way this team works together is impressive. They operate like a body where every part supports the other. As a nurse, I can say it felt genuinely good to be taken care of for a change. A special thanks to the installation team Johnnie and Joey. Our home is older, and they had to make several ductwork modifications. They handled everything efficiently and with such attention to detail that I felt completely at ease. After working three 12-hour shifts, it was a gift to go to sleep and wake up to a job well done. They truly advocated for the system itself, making sure it was installed and supported in the best way possible. Not to sound corny, but SoGood really lived up to its name in price, service, and timeliness. We’re grateful to have worked with them and would recommend them without hesitation. We will continue to work with them in our next home as well!

SoGood Plumbing Heating & Air (formally known as Southern Goodman) is amazing!!! We have been a customer with the company for over 15 years or more!!! They have never disappointed from an emergency call right after Christmas one year to the quarterly checkups to make ensure our units are running smoothly. Everyone from the first call to the office to the technicians are very pleasant and “make you smile”. Today Billy came to do our quarterly check up. He was very dependable, professional and knowledgeable. He explained items that we needed to pay attention to and did not push on what we “should” do. We had to get our main sewer pipe replaced And SoGood Plumbing Heating and Air went above and beyond to make sure the entire process was as hassle free as possible. Samson was very professional and informative and helped me through the entire process from the insurance to the job site.
